ATLANTA, Ga. — The Sacramento Urban Debate League represented the city well at the National Urban Debate League (NAUDL) national championship at Emory University in Atlanta from April 4-6, 2025. CK McClatchy students Kyle Delgado and Vivian Grant advanced to quarterfinals (top 8 in the country), and West Campus Abby Mike and Justine Cheuh-Griffith advanced to Octofinals (top 16 in the country). The tournament was won by Kenwood Academy from Chicago Public Schools, which won their second consecutive NAUDL championship.
A total of 38 teams 38 schools from Urban Debate Leagues across the country participated in the event. SUDL is proud of our debaters’ achievements and grateful for the support for debate from our community.
